We provide year-round activities for kids from ages 3 through 18. Watch our newsletter for details on upcoming programs!
Preschool Story Time is for children ages 3 through 5 but not yet in Kindergarten, and combines stories with crafts, games, and snacks. Story Time lasts about half an hour, and is held each spring and fall.
After School Programs ranging from crafts to X-Box games are held at varying times throughout each month, and are for kids in 1st through 5th grades.
The Summer Reading Program is designed to be family-friendly, and rewards reading at all skill levels. Details are available in late May. For older kids, we have the Teen Summer Blast, which usually takes place later in the summer.
Teen Zone is for kids going into 6th grade and up, with a program about every other month. Activities vary but include such things as art projects, X-Box games, and food.
This One's for the Girls is for girls going into 6th grade and up, and focuses on topics of specific interest to girls, such as hairstyles,careers, and crafts. These programs are held about every other month.

Books Our Children's Room contains more than 6000 books!
Beginning Readers Our Easy Reader collection makes it easy for beginning readers to find what they want, fast! These books are at 1st and 2nd grade reading levels, and the collection contains classics such as Clifford and Amelia Bedelia, as well as newer favorites, like Fancy Nancy and Builder Bob
Series Shelf This is where most Independant Readers go the the newest and most popular chapter books.
Young Adult Books The books in our Teen section are selected especially for high-school teen readers, and are chosen not by reading level, but by content. Whether your teen is into Science Fiction/Fantasy or good old-fashioned teen angst, we've got it covered!
Working with the Schools We have marked our books to match up with the Accelerated Reader program as used at Central Elementary School. We also have the Clue Me In books marked by grade; they can be found on the Series Shelf in the Children's Room.
