1. Q: What is the age range for Summer Reading? 

A: Kids, ages 0-15! 

2. Q: How do the Reading Logs work? 

A: For our readers who aren't quite ready for chapter books, you will read 10 easy (picture) books per Reading Log. Books read to you count (hence the age range starting at 0)! If you read the same book over and over? THAT'S GREAT! You can put it on your reading log multiple times! Read the same book TEN WHOLE TIMES? Perfect! You've completed a Reading Log! For our chapter books readers, you will read 1 chapter book per Reading Log.  Your log will look a little bit different - we want to know how you liked it! And for our readers in between - you can absolutely do a mix of easy and chapter book reading logs! Just let us know! 

3. Q: Do I have to read books from your library?

A: Absolutely not! Any book counts! Audiobooks, books from home, books from grandma's house... you name it! 

4. Q: Do I have to have a library card to sign up? 

A: No! You do not! Our Summer Reading Program is welcome to all! Just take extra care that we take down the correct contact information for you, so we can let you know if you win a prize.  

5. Q: How much does it cost? 

A: Nothing! Our program is FREE to all! 

6. Q: Do I have to sign up for Summer Reading to come to the programs and special events? 

A: Nope! All are welcome. 

7. Q: What happens if I sign up and I don't finish? 

A: We will be very disappointed in you......... (just kidding)!!!! Please sign up - even if you don't think you'll be able to complete all five logs! We're just so proud that you took the chance. If you DO finish however, you will get a super cool Finisher Poster, as well as a few other goodies!
